Professor Thrun is awarded the “Aachener Ingenieurspreis” to honor his visionary involvement and his research impulses in the field of artificial intelligence, among others. The symposium, which takes place on the morning of the award ceremony, provides a scientific setting for this honouring. The award winner himself and four other renowned scientists will present their current research from different areas of AI research. There will be time for discussion, such that the symposium serves as a space for scientific exchange.
